Start With a Compliance Matrix

Before writing a word, build a checklist that matches every requirement in the RFP. Page numbers, forms, deadlines it all goes into the matrix. This guarantees you won’t miss mandatory items like affidavits, resumes, or insurance certs.


Map a Proposal Calendar

Proposals fail when they’re crammed into the last 48 hours. Break the response into mini-deadlines: draft, review, finalize. Give yourself room for revisions, signatures, and formatting.


Nail the Win Themes

Evaluators need reasons to choose you. Identify 2–3 win themes (cost efficiency, speed, niche expertise) and weave them through every section. Don’t just say you’re capable—prove why you’re the safest choice.


Color-Team Reviews (Yes, Even Small Shops)
